I really thought the embarrassment of being traded was going to be what Luka needed to take the next step. After the hot start though it looks like he's just the same old guy. He's put weight back on, he barks at the refs instead of getting back on defense, refuses to close out to shooters, chucks step back 3's instead of getting to the rim, and is foul bating at an all-time level. The Mavs may suck, but I've honestly enjoyed watching them more this year without all that garbage.

I wouldn't say I've enjoyed watching the team more this year, but I agree with everything else, and the absence of "that garbage" makes me feel like a more fun to watch version of the team is coming in the future.
