AD to Atl notes
If the Mavs do a deal with ATL, the starting point needs to be the NO pick in 2026.
Other than that, it's hard to know how such a deal with them should look like, because there's no way to know how ATL would be wanting to trade-match the AD contract. There are several avenues they might be interested in pursuing, but anything workable on that front requires them to move one or more of their key talents (since those are the ones with the bigger salary). But if I'm the Mavs, I would insist on the NO pick as the foundation, and then let ATL drive the fashioning of the deal (with the trade match issues) to suit their preferences.
