That´s four 1st round picks (in the top 20) for AD + Gafford plus two lottery picks in Essengue and Dillingham. Simons and Vucevic expiring contracts.
I'm a proponent of spreading out whatever comes back from AD if the parts fit better elsewhere. I hope the Mavs don't get cheap. If there's teams craving expiring contracts like Simons or Vucevic and are willing to give up draft assets for eating another year or two of money...you DO IT!!!
OKC's upcoming dynasty was partially built on doing this. They've got Utah's protected 1st for simply eating a year of Derrick Favors.
