Yeah, it's not going to be easy because Nico left the Mavs in a horrible spot when it comes to future picks between 2007-2030.
There are trade options the front office could look at to get the Mavs picks back though? These trades may not be entertained by the other teams at all... unless y'all ask Adam Silver to lean on those teams to get the trades done. It's the least he can do.
Also tell the Hornets and Thunder that the Mavs will not tank if they don't get their picks returned, and those picks will therefore be between 15-20.
- Anthony Davis: Trade to the Hornets for Miles Bridges, Grant Williams, Josh Green and 2027 DAL 1st round pick back.
- PJ Washington: Trade to Thunder for Isaiah Joe and 2028 DAL 1st round pick back.
- Kyrie Irving: Trade to Rockets for FVV, Reed Sheppard and 2029 DAL 1st round pick back.
- Daniel Gafford: Trade to Spurs for Kelly Olynyk and 2030 DAL 1st round pick back
