yeah agreed, multi-year tank sounds miserable and unnecessary. Just come out of this draft with a decent 2 way SG and they should be set for a few years. Looks like this draft is loaded with good wings. I'd rather use an AD trade if it happens on someone that is not an undersized combo guard, try and do an SGA like deal on someone with some major upside even if they don't come anywhere close to MVP caliber. If you get quality picks in the '26 draft it's fine to get lesser players but I think those picks will be considered premium right now so deals will be harder to come by.
