I was impressed by Dallas. I have no expectations. I was really doubtful about the Schotty hire. Still think it won't work out, but I have liked almost everything he has done. I really thought not playing ANYONE in preseason that we would see the same old Cowboys in game one, with them being undiscplined, not organized and just sloppy. For the most part, they were discplinend and prepared. Shotty even managed the clock smartly. It seems like every Cowboys coach has had issues with this. So for one game, I give it a thumbs up. Still 0-1.
The next two are huge though. They need to beat teams who are worse or similar to them. They won game 1 last year and then got curb stomped by a bad Saints team at home.
I think Dallas is comfortably the third best team in the NFC east. That could change. I thought Dallas and the Giants would be close to each other, the Giants looked so poor though. That coach and GM are dead man walking and Russ Wilson is a shell of his former self.
