Off topic: Micah Parsons traded to GB
#4
Honestly Jerry Jones is still being Jerry.

My day was already going poor and then the (expected) trade news dropped and my day got even worse. I sort of hate this return, because the odds of those picks turning out to be a better player than Parsons is low.

One bright side is that Parsons did have a habit of disappearing in some big moments. How much of that is his fault vs. the coaches/Dak/d-line etc. is up for debate.

As to the similarities with the Luka trade. There is some of the same feelings, but truthfully being so completely blindsided from the Luka news can really never be topped. Luka was the closest thing we had to Dirk, and we just never trade those guys. Ever.

Parsons was a great player. He was never in the same category as a "Luka-esque" guy in the NFL. Plus it did help that Parsons got out ahead of it a couple of months ago saying he's out of Dallas for good so I've had some time to prepare for this inevitable trade.

Jerry Jones is still Jerry. Nico has his work cut out for him if he wants to keep the title of the worst sports manager in Dallas.
