Lets talk ring culture.  I was thinking what a third title would mean for KD.   Would that make him a top 10 player ever?  Is he already there?  He has two championships  and was probably the best player on those teams, but those were Steph's teams.

With that I was thinking what titles would mean to the Mavs veterans.  AD has one.   He is a top 75 player ever.   Would a second title put him in the Dirk range?  That sounds too high, but would he be in the top 50?  

KD? AD? Are you okay?  There are alphas like Dirk then there are betas like KD and AD that leeched some rings from real #1 options. You were never the alpha on a championship team you don´t belong in the top 20 all-time conversation. Too many good players in NBA history to include betas in a top 20 all-time conversation. If we did, Scottie Pippen would still be clear of KD.
