[Woike] Luka Doncic has lost a significant amount of weight this offseason and committed to a strict diet and cardio training according to a source with knowledge of the plan. In a shift from his normal offseason, he spent a month away from on-court work to focus more on his body.
He loses weight before the team Slovenia activities EVERY SUMMER. This isn't new. What matters is what he does after that stuff. Traditionally, that month between then and training camp is when he pounds beers and plays overwatch all day (not a joke, he's grandmaster level at that game). How someone can get sooooo out of shape in just a few short weeks is beyond me, but that's what he has been doing.
Wake me up if he's in shape when the season starts instead of using October through Christmas Day to play himself into the condition that everyone else showed up to training camp in. That's when we'll know if something has changed.
Not trying to hate on Luka - just calling it like I see it.
