Tim McMahon's summary of how it all went south for the current DAL MBT.
I feel like Tim has always looked for the dark side of the Mavs, But a lot of this is on the correct timeline and it makes Nico look like a narcissistic megalomanic.
I have a worry that we are heading back to the free falling 90's as Mavs fans. Not just as a result of THE TRADE, but it feels like there has been a loss of buy in from most of the players into the "team" concept.
Not sure how to re-kindle that without finding another hub for the wheel. Is that AD? Maybe, but it hasn't had time to develop yet, although the limited glimpses show he can certainly lift the team. Maybe Kyrie? I think at this point he can be critical to developing the team chemistry, but he's no longer the lead dog. Everybody else on the team is either too young or too old to assume the role.
Going to be interesting to see how the MBT shuffles the deck this offseason.
