That did cross my mind.  Give him a chance to speak now since he won’t be here for exit interviews.  The thing that doesn’t fit that narrative well is the plan to do this prior to the Luka homecoming.

I tend to agree that this long national nightmare won’t end as long as Nico is here.  It will be the same conversation for as far as the eyes can see.  With the injury histories of our top players, Nico is not likely to ever get to prove the theory he’s selling.

New guy can prove the theory and they can build a statue to Nico afterwards, if the theory turns out right
