Pelicans Fire David Griffin… Hire Joe Dumars

The Pelicans sure are dumb. Hiring Dumars is a bad move.

At least they are finally moving in the right direction when it comes to trading Zion though. They should have done that 2-3-4 years ago. Keeping and building around him has resulted in killing off any chances they could have had to build a title contender.

Anyway, I think they should try trading Zion to the Nets. Perhaps, ask for Nic Claxton and Cam Johnson in return.

This seems like a team who could at least get to the playoffs and make some noise, since they aren't going to be winning titles.

How's it dumb hiring a guy that built a championship team although it was a while back? What did David Griffin win in 6 yrs?  Now whether he can build NO into something remains to be seen, but his resume is there.
