But Silver did NOT have that right, in the Luka situation. That was my point, and despite what some wrongfully say, my point is factual (based on the legal docs that govern the relationships between multi-billion dollar owners, with each other, and with their mega-wealthy employees). There are strict limits that are well defined (through years of detailed negotiations using expert lawyers over and over). Rich people wouldn't have it any other way.
Agree, Silver was not able to stop that trade.
It's a complete different situation than CP3... But he shouldn't have made that pathetic speech during the ASG, it was a clear sign that the league is behind this crap.
