Unless we fall into a Brunson or Lively sort of pick, we need a ball handler and offense creator for next year and for when Kyrie is gone ( hopefully not soon) so I would love to see younger talent who can help the rotation next year.

I get the theory, but I wonder how available is a player who is (a) still young, (b) already good enough to crack the rotation and be a valued contributor, and (c ) readily available to the Mavs. Those special talents, presumably on first contract (which makes them extra affordable), are hoarded by about every team.

I need someone to name a name or three, who might qualify.
