Luka Dealt to Lakers: Nico Harrison is a Basketball Terrorist

I wouldn’t trade Lively straight up for Reeves.  He needs to stay healthy though.  I am really anxious to seem him without Luka to see if I am wrong about his upside or if playing with Luka made things easier for him.  My thoughts are he can be one of the top 10 defenders in the league, one of the better leaders in the league and I hope eventually an offensive hub.  Although the last one is quite a bit off.

I think post-Luka Lively will still be on an obvious path to greatness, defensively. Possibly even an elevated path, given the absence of Luka and the presence of possibly the greatest defensive big man in the sport to mentor him. 

On the offensive end, though...idk, I'm pretty skeptical about Lively on that end without a pick and roll maestro to play off of him.
