Don’t overvalue them.
Early second round picks have legit value. The quality of player is not that different from late first rounders, and you have more options from a contract perspective. Lets also not forget that Brunson was an early second round pick. Even if you miss on several chances, it only takes one hit to make a big difference, but that can't happen if your GM keeps giving them away like candy.
