He‘d be easily able to get these numbers on this depleted Mavs team right now, then you have great asset in the summer to sign and trade or keep while getting rid of someone else.

I'd like to know if the reports are true that Grimes asked to be traded after we traded Luka.
I can see him saying he would not re-sign here no matter what and Nico getting what he could for him. But why give up the valuable 2nd rounder too? That trade made absolute zero sense.
