Anthony Davis has literally never been a near 40% 3pt shooter in his career. And he’s actually barely been close to a 30% 3pt shooter too. 

He’s not a stretch big. He does have a mid range game though, and when he’s feeling it he’s close to 45% career wise there. Which is good for league average.

But that’s all AD has to be from there to be a transformative guy offensively. He’s one of the best rim finishers of all time though.


I’m just writing this out because I just want to be realistic here. I do want to see how AD looks with Lively. But he is not a stretch big. We cannot expect him to ever become one. It’s up to Lively to stretch the floor.
