I can't believe Mavs ownership is letting Nico take all the blame. I get that he took responsibility for the decision at the press conference but damn where is the leadership to take some heat off of him? Where is Silver to take some blame? I hope Pelinka at least offered to pay for some security for his "friend'.

Nico came out and owned it and then made it into a joke so he 100% deserves what he's getting, other than harm of course. He may have been told to make the trade, but he failed miserably at negotiations. Nothing will save face and we all hate the new owners now so that won't change anything if they take blame.
