As a fellow German, i just sticked with the Mavs post-Dirk due to Luka's basketball magic and entertainment value.
Luka is gone and nothing left on the Mavs really sparks an urge to support them regardless. Never liked the organization outside the players that much anyway with all the warts of Cuban, Carlisle, Nelson, Coach Kidd and now Harrison and the new owners.
I'll probably start to watch a lot more Orlando Magic games for the Wagner Bros, sprinkled with a bit of Wemby and Lakers-Luka star power although these franchises don't get me excited either.
