I agree that Luka needs to get in optimum condition for that to happen. That's on him. You can tell SGA is highly motivated to be one of the best in the league, and it shows in his game. Every year it seems he adds something to his bag.  He had 40 pts in 29 mins, and sat the 4th qtr. I only remember prime Klay Thompson and Kobe Bryant doing anything similar.

Just want to point out that Kobe and Klay had 60+ points in 3 quarters, not 40 points... but I fully agree with the overall sentiment or point that you're trying to make about Luka's and Shai's mentalities.

OKC should go get Deni Avdija. It wouldn't cost them much and would give them a defender with some playmaking at the 4, that is on their time-line.

Who would be able to stop this team then?
