In theory you want him. In reality I'd wager you really wouldn't, even without the FRP.
It's about salary. That trade doesn't work as a salary match (and isn't even close). That's because MB has a sizable salary (compared to his on-court value) of 2 yrs $48M. Given his actual play, that salary creates a huge value problem, both for trade value and also in general in fitting him into a hard capped payroll.
Just try to figure out how you match the salary. The good news is that the Mavs have assembled a roster full of players with modest salaries and good values - but that makes trading for any player making above 20M a potential issue of it costing too much outgoing talent. Here it takes an outgoing of $24M plus $2M for each extra player, and assembling that $24M+ salary package would put massive holes in the Mavs team that I believe would be deal killers.
