Giannis is technically the backup. When Lopez sits, Portis comes in, but he's not playing the 5. 

The Bucks couldn't even do the deal I floated above due to 2nd apron rules. BUT If they did, I'd imagine they'd trade Middleton to get some sort of center.

Fair enough. I've seen Portis at the 5 at times, so they rotate Portis and Giannis at center.  Either way, it would leave a void. The Bucks went all in on Lillard, now it's come back to bite them with diminished assets.
