I agree. I don't think they expect an all star level Klay. I think that is gone. I think they would like a slightly taller, slightly better Tim Hardaway Jr. Just one who won't go into a 3 month slump. Klay will have some ups and downs. Plenty of 3-14 shooting nights. But they hope in a playoff series he has two game where he has one where he goes 8-12 from 3 and another 6-10 from three. Something like that. Klay also has more gravity than THJ. I think most teams didn't want to give Hardaway wide open looks but not to the same level as Klay.
Will it be a home run success? Time will tell. I think he is coming to the right team if it is going to work though.
