The question we have now is whether anyone remaining is worth that amount and whether we'd be willing to guarantee three years or something less. At this point they have to already be thinking about next summer where they will have a draft pick and Exum, Hardy and Grimes all as free agents. They can go over the first apron at that point as long as they don't do something that hard caps them. If they see a hole in the roster, they should be thinking about how to create flexibility for use later kind of like what happened with Seth and Green last summer.
The thing is, Morris will be back. He said it himself and Stein confirmed it.
Unless the Mavs get out from Powell's contract for air, then the rest of our exceptions are done with.
