This thread was made in January, when Brunson was flying, Irving was always injured and Grant Williams looked like the undersized lazy loco that he is. There was nothing to suggest that the new MBT was any better than the old one. The whole  franchise perception changed at the trade deadline.

Totally disagree with this (as I stated in one of the first posts).  The offseason was completely different and wildly more successful than previous offseasons.  The sequence of events where we traded down in order to dump Bertans, and then used that TE to eat Holmes while getting another pick in the first is something this FO had never done before.  The TDL moves were simply a continuation of what had already started in the offseason.
