INJURY: KP w/ right knee soreness & illness (playing against LAC)

1) Injured his knee with the Lakers. The hypertension of the knee was worse than expected.

2) Load management, he was not supposed to play every b2b game, and this could be the time they are taking him out using a related injury and illness as an excuse.

3) No one knows what is really going on and they are just playing it safe. No one wants a repeat of his ACL on his right knee. Hes been favoring that knee since hes returned, that leg has been favored and that could be the reason why they are very cautious when hes experiencing pain/soreness.

I personally lean towards to number 3.
Hyperextending a knee is not a minor thing.  There are still tears in ligaments just not large enough to require surgery.  Also having had acl surgery myself you tend to favor the other leg.  That’s why it’s important to not only get back but to be able to trust the body.  If it takes longer so be it.
