I suppose you could frame it that way. But I would be asking, "Can he effectively do more"? I'm sure there's no worse feeling knowing you can't push-off, explode to the basket, or do anything you could do three weeks ago. What's it like to be a super-competitive person in a super-competitive environment, and not be able to compete at the highest level.... and at the same time know it's hurting your team? What's he supposed to look like?
