I think that... Dennis Lindsey is driving the bus that Cuban, Finley and Harrison are riding on. Cuban and Finley seem like they be passengers, while Harrison is the ticket collector.

The roster was bad before Lindsey joined.

Then all of a sudden, the roster improved after Lindsey joined. 

Surely, that's not a coincidence?

1 + 1 = 2.

Lindsey was also at the Jazz when they drafted Dante Exum, as another hint.

And the Jazz also had better rosters when he was there, than the Mavericks have had in the previous 10 years, which fully rules out Cuban and Finley.
