What I'm saying is that of the two players, Grant Williams and Luka, you'd think the guy around whom the team is built wouldn't need Williams to tell him that. Then again, I can certainly see your POV above, and as I said, Williams is a clown, and the motivation might have been done inappropriately clownish. As in, maybe he just deserved what he got.

Without the full context I think it is just overall guessing and making narratives. We don't know if Luka (allegedly) not practicing very hard was a regular occurence or just a bad day. We don't know if Luka is perhaps pushing other guys on most of practices or not. The only thing that we do know is sort of a funny story Finley told.
