So far I've been blaming this on his injuries/lack of conditioning tiring him out and preventing him from taking people off the dribble as often.
But the worst offender on this team for bad three pointers is THJ and we don't see anyone talking about his consistent chucking. Look all I'm saying is that Luka's style, while has some flaws, has been the only consistent winning basketball this team has played since Dirk. No one was talking about Luka's style limiting this team's ceiling before he came in out of shape and a step slow.
So I'm not going to overreact. This team needs better role players as they've always needed. Brunson has grown a lot this year (though with some issues against length like we saw against GSW where he struggled). KP looks revitalized and is playing well and I'm eager to see him play more with Luka this year. DFS has reaffirmed he's a winning player and should be brought back. Powell is having a heck of a defensive run the last 3 weeks and has me seriously questioning if we should move on from him. Maxi is as consistent as ever. Even Bullock and S.Brown are rounding into form.
Yet we got guys like THJ, WCS, Burke, and Moses Brown where we have no clue what they'll bring any given night and more likely will be good for 4-5 low IQ basketball plays.
I cannot wait for Luka to prove everyone wrong because 2 mediocre (by his standard) months are having forget his sheer dominance he's exhibited since he's gotten in the league.
