Luka has great handles and body control. He can drive and stop on a dime like Dirk and JeT to get a mid range shot, and he has better handles than either. He is also strong enough to bully defenders in the low post.
I understand the theory that he needs that step back because players will play him tough as he doesn’t have a great first step, but the drive, stop and pull up mid range should be used instead of the step back 3. It is such a tough, tough shot.
