Dirk is also really malleable having been coached by the likes of Nelson, Johnson and Carlisle who all have different approaches. I believe Dirk wants what is best for the Mavs and Luka, but he also wants his friend (Kidd) to do well.I’m having a brain fart on his name, but Luka’s Euro coach may be the replacement already on the staff.
I'd have a short leash with Kidd personally and I also be looking at the landscape for possible, long term alternatives. My key takeaway from the Luka presser was that he values continuity. In my mind, Kidd is the most unstable piece of our puzzle after KP.
