Isn't the simplest thing in the world CJ and one year from expiring Nurkic for KP and one year from expiring JRich?

I would say Portland would also be looking to save some money and CJ is arguably a better player than KP and Nurkic is better than JRich. So I would say KP+Brunson for CJ and Nurkic.

I disagree. He is an undersized 2 guard that has heavily benefitted from playing with Dame. He is too small and a liability on defense.

KP is better. Not healthier but better.

Yeah, hard to say with confidence because there are so many what ifs with KP. But I lean towards believing he’s better than the other big-contract, for-sale guys:

2. Wall
3. Kemba
4. Westbrook
5. CJ

In that order, I think.

KP is better. Not healthier but better.

He is 6'3.25" with a 6'6.25" wingspan. 

His on/off the last three seasons:

20-21: +4.8 O, +2.8 D
19-20: +7.3 O, -2.2 D
18-19: +7.3 O, -0.7 D

Luka is an oversized PG, so having an undersized SG works with Luka. 

McCollum is a decent defender by the numbers (not horrible) and a consistently big impact on the offensive side of things. 

I would take McCollum over KP because I know the fit with KP and Luka is garbage.

Can’t agree with this. Luka needs a backcourt mate who can defend waterbug PGs. I thought the days of DFS having to cover the point, rather than the best wing, were behind us. This is why Richardson seemed like such a great acquisition 11 months ago. (Oops on that one.)
