This could move the Lakers down in the standings. They already don't care about seeding. Could advantage Mavs who will be a low seed and would like to avoid the Lakers I am sure.

How’s his defense?

From the article.

And while Powell can certainly pack a punch offensively, he's a mediocre defensive player who is somewhat mistake prone. That's something that can really frustrate Raptors coach Nick Nurse.

"I'm more concerned with playing winning basketball, playing both ends, making the right play," said Nurse when asked about Powell's ability mesh offensively with Siakam, VanVleet, and Anunoby returning from COVID-19 protocols. "I think Norm’s had the capability to score, I've known that for a long time. I didn't need to see him score 40, 30, 40, 30, I've known that for a long time."

24pts per game and they are estimated he make 20M per on his next contract.  Seems like a better but more expensive version of THJ.

Seems like exactly the kind of shooter that we need out there with Luka.

If LeBron and AD are out for at least a month the Mavs have a chance to overtake the Lakers. Only six games behind.

I’m all for taking a flyer on French frank. But didn’t the Knicks kill a deal with the Lakers last year just so we wouldn’t get Danny Green?

What about Austin Rivers?  Thibs basically told him, he was through when they traded for Derrick Rose.  He's been nailed on the bench since.

Doesn't Jabari's expression in the picture capture every person's thoughts about this nugget?

You'd look the same way if you played for the Kings.

Interesting. Greatly overpaid, doesn't play defense. But might be interesting as a scoring punch of the bench.

If that's not the look of the new Custodian, I don't know what is!
