3rd quarter just started. So far he has 9 steals in 18 minutes. NBA record is 11.

Finished with 10 stls but at least won the game for his team. 16/4/13, 10stls 8/8 FG.

I'm curious what makes you think that, because the (very) few times I've watched the Pistons this year he literally can't jump.   I honestly don't think he's better than James Johnson, and I don't think James Johnson is a rotation player on an above .500 NBA team.   If his name was Blake Smith he would be playing in Europe.

You're right he can't jump at all, but he can still hit a 3. And by hit a 3, I mean he can hit it relatively much more often than Johnson or Iwundu, which is who he'd be replacing in the rotation. Not to mention Blakes passing game, which was always an underrated aspect of him.

I don't think Griffin gets another NBA contract after this one, but he's still a serviceable 10th-11th man.

A Golden State loss will get us the 8th seed..but a Portland loss will not be that bad either

Beal will be the next big name that gets traded, but after that I think the next most likely candidate is Brandon Ingram.   Zion is turning into a bonafide superstar and he and Ingram are not going to work together over the long haul.  Too much overlap in position and skillsets and I don't think Ingram is the type who wants to play 2nd banana.

misleading tweet

Lakers without Anthony Davis but WITH Schroeder and Lebron are something like 6-1 or 7-1.  They obviously struggle when BOTH their 2nd and 3rd best players are out.

I think this just speaks more to the seemingly everlasting reffing problem the NBA has. I've never seen a league be so lackadaisical with what I believe is a core issue that can potentially set the NBA back indefinitely. I mean look at what KOC tweeted not just 2 days ago about the Suns vs. LAL fiery battle that was taken from us: https://twitter.com/KevinOConnorNBA/stat...7426822155

Obviously it seems ridiculous to us now, but if the reffing problem has just continued to get worse year by year. Eventually it'll make the games completely unwatchable.

Straight up the refs have broken me at this point.
If we would have ended up with a Bagley or someone similar instead of Luka I think I would have completely lost touch with basketball. Even with Luka they make it hard to stay invested

If Hayes doesn't come back soon, he's going to fall behind DSJ and Saben Lee who both have been playing great. Philly has kicked the tires on Delon Wright who may be traded after he comes off injury. I guess this a good problem to have for the future.

I like Shaq and all, but dude toots his own horn too much for me. Yeah, he's a all timer.  But I always felt the Dream and Kareem was better than him.
