Should not have slapped him and I don't blame Luka for having that reaction.

I think Luka would be forgiving as long as Mosley apologized.

Mosley was smiling when he slaped (it wasn't really something that hurt) him. Guys will solve it. Media overreactions can only make it worse.

I didn't think anything of it when I saw it live, but watching the replay Luka didn't like that at all. He better hope Luka likes him. It's really easy for a superstar to have a assistant fired. It looked playful, but it didn't seem like Luka took it that way.

Mosley has been largely responsible for defensive schemes since he took over. Wouldn´t be mad if Luka forces him out. Mavs lacked an defensive gameplan last year and it is not looking good this year as well. Outside of hard close outs to prevent 3s I haven´t figured out what the Mavs want to do on defense. Random switches, go over/under, hedge/ no hedge. Seems completly random.

Mosley trying always to "challange" him in different ways. He responded well in terms of play by being around Mosley, so maybe its a good thing. It's not necessary a bad thing to piss of Luka. Maybe it acts positively.

House of Highlights posted this exact clip and Luka is the top comment with a bunch of laughing emojis. Nothing to see here. But I agree that Mosley shouldn't be slapping anybody. Regardless if its just playful.

The superstar sophomore set a new career high with 38 points against the Knicks and is now averaging 27.7 points, 10.8 rebounds and 9.1 assists on the year. Russell Westbrook (once) and Oscar Robertson (three times) are the only other players to post those three-category figures over a full season, and it's noteworthy that Doncic's true shooting percentage of 60.9 percent is higher the ones Russ and Oscar managed when they produced those averages.

Did anyone else see the "touches per game" stat they put up at the beginning of the broadcast? Luka with 102.4 then LeBron (99.2), Giannis (90.4), Brogdon (88.9), Lowry (88.4). Is this concerning to anyone but me? My concern is two-fold, first, doing too much is why we got run down Luka in the second half of last season.
Second, it just feels like doing that much on a team that has players that do their best with the ball in their hands is possibly counter-productive. I wonder if this is part of the reason Brunson looks less than the player he did last year? I wonder if this is the reason Wright would rather come off the bench. I saw multiple times where Luka and KP got the switch of the defenders with KP posting up and Luka played hero-ball. KP can't figure out his slump if he doesn't get those touches to try. Does Luka ever take plays off when he is on the court? It doesn't seem so. Why not? |
