I'll be optimistic and say Mavs are still better if they show the effort needed. Especially in the battle under the rim

Especially in the battle under the rim Well, now there are rumors that KP and possibly even Kleber might play. But, if the Mavs are really without five (5!) of their top 9 players and somehow pull a win out of the hat against ANY pro team, I'm going to be really excited.

Honestly despite everything going on we all know what this is, just another must win game.

Must win.

If KP returns, it couldn't be at a more opportune time.

Woohoo to KP coming back. Surely he'll have some rust to knock off, but a rusty KP should still be helpful

Feels like an Iwundu breakout game. Put him on Brandon Ingram and see what he can do

KP returning to play against Pelicans biggest starters (Steven Adams, Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram) I prefer they don't play him.

If KP and Maxi both plays, alongside with Willie and B O B A N, it will be another block fest. This is one of the matchups that our current lack of depth at the wings should hurt less.

If he can do that in the game, the only other thing he really needs to do is provide a bit of help defense at times. On another note, Zion is just a wrecking ball. I like him a lot, but when you have guys with the length of WCS and KP, you can block his shots without really fouling him.

Dang, and on yet another note, Alabama/Ohio State play at 7pm. How will you handle that?

Josh Green is a top 5 Mavs player...

Feels like a rushed return
Wasnt he only doing 3 on 3 against the rookies a couple days ago?

Luka said the other day to the media that he had played 3 on 3 against the rookies, but I'm pretty sure this was simply what he had done THAT DAY.

The condensed schedule and a rushed early start of the season is leading to more injuries. No need to be desperate and rush KPs return. That said. I think even in early december/late november they expected him to return in january. Meaning that he could be right on schedule.
