How even did Luka get that much fatter since the bubble? Has he been drinking melted ice cream?

Call me crazy or maybe its the angle, but the shooting form of Josh Green looked weird to me on those free throws....

Am I the only one who's not afraid to admit that I'm a little worried about a possible 0-3 start?
...possibly even 1-4?

Sure it is possible, it is a tough stretch of games to start the season, especially without KP. But next 6 games are Chicago, Houston, Denver, Orlando, Pelicans and Charlotte, which could easily be 4-2 or even 5-1.

That schedule looks exhausting and a bit risky to player health, but at least we’ll have a Mavs game to watch almost on a daily basis. Young teams with depth, that can almost sub in a new starting five from day to day, will have a huge advantage in the regular season this year.

BTW Luka isn't fat, he's squeezable. Imagine the market for life-sized Luka dolls. I want one for Christmas.

There's so many variables I don't think you can really predict what will happen. If you have everyone but KP available I think you still have a really good team bc you have quality bigs that can take his place in the offense and the Mavs still have a great system. There are variables like who is injured and who has Covid which could dramatically alter the outcome of any one game or maybe several games. I don't know that they have the luxury to just postpone games like the NFL. They might be like well you have 17 guys so as long as you have enough bodies to play a full game then the show must go on.

Ric: "When he (WCS) was in the floor with us last year, our defensive numbers were very very strong." Is this coachspeak or truth?
And he mentioned Iwundu, finallly! In passing and very briefly..but still..

The GREAT Rick Carlisle knows EVERYTHING about Mavericks basketball, my dude. @"Kammrath" Judging by Carlisle's comments today on Bey, he sees him as a natural 4, but it seems that like YOU, coach thinks his path onto the floor is as a 3&D 3/4 combo...I will admit defeat on this one, but I don't think this bodes well for the idea that Bey will make much of a contribution anytime soon. I will hope for the best.
