Trade & Free Agency 2026/2027
Chris Herrington: Everything I’ve heard is that the Edey trajectory hasn’t changed. Expectation is he’ll be ready for opening night. But I also expect they’ll be careful with him. He’ll miss games. So will Stewart. They needed a third center.

I'm struggling to see enough usage to go around for Harden, LeBron AND Mitchell, even short term.

I heard Jarrett Allen might be made available this morning.

Funny, I've heard two analysts say Cleveland might try to make room from Bronny - which is a level of extraordinary suck-up

Can’t believe we missed out on star player Rui Hachimura

If that happened, my eyes might roll soooo hard that they get stuck in some unnatural position for the rest of my life.

I'm so, so, so glad we won't have to deal with this circus in Dallas. No LeBron and no Aday Mara, so I'm pretty much on board with this summer's moves no matter where they go from here.

Yossi Gozlan: Los Angeles Clippers salary cap with Rui Hachimura. This framework fits in the mid-level exception, which would hard-cap them to the first apron. They could alternatively sign him with cap space. They still have plenty of luxury tax space to take on more salaries in trades.

I'll take one Donovan Mitchell, please.

Yossi Gozlan: This contract for Quentin Post will go into the Grizzlies' mid-level exception. If matched, it’ll be replenished for different moves. If unmatched, they’ll need to acquire Isaiah Stewart with the big $29 million trade exception or by expanding the Santi Aldama trade. I suspect the Warriors won’t match, as they need to maintain cap flexibility for other potential moves.

I don't know that he's the right guy for Dallas (don't know that he's not, to be fair), but I wonder whether a LeBron signing might make him available. I really do.

Definitely not… They‘ll just trying to give him enough help to win in the playoffs.

Predictably, this is being handled 100x better than the press conference that immediately followed the Luka trade. Night and day. Transparency of thinking (simply put: they didn't think 70% of the cap and 80% of the usage being tied up with two players was a sustainable team-building model, and they're probably right), but mixed in with a TON of empathy and gushing over what an important part of team history Brown is.

You might be right. I don't think it's going to work, though.

These workout video always get me.  Ha.  He does look in better shape than the last time he played.

We should be seeing Ben Simmons highlihghts soon too.

Ben Simmons announced last week a list of teams "he'd consider." I'm not even joking (though it is a joke, obviously). Miami was one of them, I remember.

I don't think Cleveland is dumb enough to short sell Spider for the rotting corpses of Lebron and Harden.

It won’t - they have way too many „one-way-players“, that are either good on offense or on defense, but that doesn’t balance out as far as I‘m concerned.
