LeBron James will not leave the Lakers for the Warriors in free agency unless they trade for Anthony Davis, per @ShamsCharania.
If Golden State pulls it off, there’s a good chance LeBron will join Stephen Curry to make a title run.
Lebron and Rich Paul still trying to show everyone how powerful they are.
Not gonna lie though. I'd love to see those geezers play together in Golden State.

Only interested in FVV if it’s in a Kyrie deal bringing back multiple firsts at minimum, plus maybe Sheppard, or do we want Jabari?

How about Klay and Martin for FVV and picks?

I like FVV but his knee injury was BAD. I think he mentioned in a podcast recently how much stuff "exploded." I believe ChicagoJK brought it up. You'd have to have the medical clearance and we dont even have a medical staff.

That would be a no brainer. But he is a good player. Don’t think they would have to pay to get off him unless there are still injury issues.

Reading the various reports, its glaringly obvious that Siegel has no actual info. Just guesses that are packaged as fact, but aren't.

How pissed are we all gonna be if the Wizards get actual firsts from Golden State in 2030s when they’re a shell of a franchise?

I won't be pissed, personally.
Every good thing that has happened this summer for the Mavs has happened because of that trade. It was necessary just to move forward. I think the Mavs made a hell of a good deal, honestly.

Ok, so Kyrie, Nembhard and maybe (probably?) De Larrea...That's cool and all, especially if the youngsters actually get to play and develop. I'm not sure it's going to lead to much winning this year.

Hmmm, I wasn't aware that the free agency period was over.
That is actually a sufficient PG rotation, as long as whoever they get for shooting guard has some creational/playmaking ability. By far the biggest concern with that rotation is Kyrie's availability. If he misses 20-40 games, yeah, you aren't going to win much with Nembhard and a hopefully-swimming-not-sinking Sergio as your only point guards. To summarize, I bet they get a combo guard type in free agency/trade.

Maybe the will also request Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Bosh to come out of retirement for a Banana Boat 2026 reunion tour at this rate?

Poorly run franchises typically repeat the same mistakes over and over again so just a little pissed as it is to be expected. Hopefully Ujiri puts an end to the madness.

Where did I say it was over? What on Earth do you even mean by that?
And, is your point that they need another PG (that was MY point, obviously), OR is it "actually a sufficient PG rotation?"

Not sure why you are so defensive and/or confused; you said those three names as though they weren't planning on doing anything else. If you want further explication, I would offer the rejoinder of questioning how your post would indicate anything else than that. I read it as "Bringing back Nembhard seems to denote that they aren't getting any more point guards," which I didn't read it that way at all. I would see RN as the fourth guard at most, with De Larrea being deep bench/developmental unless he shows a DL3/CF-type learning curve.
I would bet good money that their one big target guy, whoever that ends up being, is more of a combo guard than a PG. IIRC you don't regard Kyrie as a PG, but if that were the case, either 1) he wouldn't be an NBA player, or 2) he can only be effectively be paired with Luka - or at least a PG who is not much smaller at all than Luka (and preferably better on D). I would presume whoever their target is will be either second or third in guard minutes alongside Kyrie and Christie.

Shouldn’t he think about a second turn with the Heat?
Giannis and Bam could be the only frontcourt outside of San Antonio that could cover him on the defensive end. Going to the Spurs to „show“ them how to win would also be interesting, wouldn’t it?

Jake Fischer (@JakeLFischer)
Sacramento is trading a 2033 second-round pick to Atlanta, per source, along with Devin Carter.
Atlanta remains active in other trade conversations, with two hours to go before a decision on Jonathan Kuminga's team option.

Shams should only be allowed to tweet about the top 100 players in the NBA. No one cares about Devin Carter dude.
