My sense is that they still have 48. In any event, they have to find a way to grab 31 or 32 and get Evans or Thomas. Need more shooting.

My only real remaining desire at this point is that they get some kind of value for Gafford this offseason. I was hoping that value was going to come tonight. But my target was the number 25 pick which they landed without giving up either of those guys.

I hope Poulakidas gets a chance too in training camp. I liked what I saw from him. Can be a good bench player if he pans out.

I've liked him but I kid you not I watched so much film the last 5 days to get ready for tonight. So I defer to our resident draft heads first. But I was very excited this whole night thinking Larrea was a possibility. Had him I think as the 8th best guard in the first round.

Then the Mavs turn around and give us an apple pie to finish it off. Great night. I stand corrected on the AD trade I love it. Speak for yourself! Definite homemade vanilla ice cream. I think the draft went as good as it could. Mo will be excellent. He’s such a premiere athlete with skill and a winner. The kid from Spain should have gone much higher. He’ll be a solid rotation player in 2 years.

The Mavericks will acquire No. 47 and two future second-round picks for No. 30, league sources say.

I had Rez at 10 on my big board. I still think he was a reach since Burries was there, but I'm okay with a one-pick reach. If he's a dawg who can guard all positions, fantastic. People in the Discord were wailing nonstop that he can't shoot - but of course he tore it up in the combine.

The European kid is an interesting substitute. The only real option with size other than Stirtz, so I should have known.

@ShamsCharania
Phoenix sent No. 47 among the three second-rounders to New York, sources said. So the Knicks now add that 47th pick to Nos. 31 and 55 on Wednesday night. The champion Knicks are now on the clock -- and, per sources, they have already received offers of future draft assets for No. 31 and intend to move the pick prior to the start of night two of the Draft. Shams is countering Stein here

So the form and hope is there. I don't even care about the 3. If he can keep defenses honest with some mid range shots, that's good enough.
