Definitely NOT shtick. He's stuck behind Gobert, Reid and Randle, but Every. Single. Time. I've watched him get minutes he ends a game with a double-double. I think he would be great as a 5, doing all the rebounds and dirty work.
Edit: Beringer was just the youngest NBA player to have 20+ points, 10+ rebounds and 5+ blocks in a game as a 19 year old.

Leonard Miller - Long and athletic forward. Played some small ball five for the Bulls. Post allstar break he averaged 14/6 on 63% TS. Maybe a budget Eason/Bridges/Anunoby type
Team option for next season in both cases.
Good names.
I am probably out on Miller, but he is the type of guy who will get some more chances due to his upside.
I think Cleveland is a good team to steal from. Not very familiar with Porter though.

Minny made two big gambles on raw bigs in the draft last year. Both are raw but I believe Minny fans like both.

OMax actually fits into that category but I guess that ship has sailed. As far as former lottery picks go. How about Jeremy Sochan and Ousmane Dieng? Can they develop a jumpshot or is it all over for them.

OMAX actually had some real nice games for the tanking Grizz. He was pretty efficient shooting the ball too. My biggest issue was he was playing a lot of small ball center though. Don' think that is a fit longterm. He was good enough that the Grizz had to find worse players to play...so that says something.
I am out on Sochan. I don't think he has it. Dieng had some nice games for MIL, but not sure how real that is. He would be interesting though.

OMax is interesting, but imo the jury is out on his value. He looked good on a team full of GL'ers and 10-days, where he gets all the touches he wants. But will he still look all that good when he's the 5th option? Grimes is a great example of how that works. With OMax, we won't really know his worth until MEM is playing a real roster next year.

I would argue OMax is a lot more like Josh Green than Grimes. A low usage finisher who is better off playing next to good players setting him up than trying to get his own. But I agree the jury is still out. It was a fairly small sample.

Adds Flagg on Peacock of playing for fellow ROY winner Jason Kidd:
"J-Kidd is just the ultimate player's coach. He was there for me from day one. We started building that relationship. But I think it just starts with him knowing the game at an extremely high level . . . He reads the game at an incredible level and pace. Just having that and learning from him, and kind of picking his brain on what he's seeing out there, and trying to put me in the right spots, I think helped me learn a lot about the game really quick."

Great news. I think Kon was fantastic and had a very strong case. Kon was one of my favorites in the draft but never expected him to be this good, this fast. Hopefully next year during this time, Cooper is still playing.
