PJ is hard to watch out there. This was a game we should have started Nembhard

Flagg is so good. This guy is an MVP candidate by next season. Really need to unload Davis, Martin, and Russell ASAP

Great opportunity for coop to lead a team as 19 year old. He looks so composed. He has really grown in such a short period handling the ball. He is going to be impossible to handle when he gets better players around him.

So Kidd has done a great job with his development?

Another good effort that is probably gonna come up just short....again. But there's 40 or so seconds left...so we'll see.

Flagg is just a matchup nightmare for opponents! Too much size, too much skill

Flagg doesn’t ever get the whistle, either. It is crazy

Yes, without a doubt.

He certainly hasn’t screwed it up. Kidd has really coached well with 2 years of injured and undermanned teams.

Jason Kidd was asked by @RonKnowsSports about the national criticism for playing Cooper Flagg at point guard.

Kidd: "Criticism? That’s your opinion. You guys write that bullshit. That’s not — I’ve done this. I’ve played this game. I played it. I know what the fuck I’m doing.

"I don’t give a fuck what you guys write because you guys have never played the game. I build players, so I know what the fuck I’m doing. So if I take criticism, it only makes me better, because if I wasn’t doing it right, you guys wouldn’t be poking holes in what I’ve done."

I just saw the clip you’re quoting here. What a classless idiot Jason Kidd is. I am so ashamed he’s the coach of my team. Carlisle would never have said anything so crude and low class in public, and while Nellie probably would have, it would have been delivered with charm and humor.

If they make this dude GM I don’t know if I can adapt to that.

Pretty sure that reporter was actually about to complement Kidd. Not sure why he lost his shit.

Also, I think it’s the third guy on the DLLS podcast. Ron something

Didn't bother me at all. Looks like Kidd doesn't suffer fools gladly. Flagg handling the ball is a necessity. How does he improve? By handling the ball. This Mavs team is not a championship team, when they're closer to that, it will be important that Flagg is the best he can be. I'm sure it's tiring for Kidd to be asked the same inane questions over and over.

Well then why is he currently shooting 2s, that me has already mastered, instead of taking ten threes a game. Is that also part of the Giannis blueprint. Make him a crap outside shooter.

Weird that triggered Kidd.  He seemed upset with a lack of foul on Cooper.  I wonder if he saw/read something that triggered him earlier?   Or, it just shows you that they are not trying to lose and all the losing is such a drag?

First game in a while that Gafford was Gafford.  Good to see.  PJ still not there.  It has been rough and then may have gotten a concussion.

Not a great Nemby showing.  Williams was hot in the first.  Hope his injury is nothing serious (maybe that has something with Kidd's frustration....all the injuries again for the second straight season).

Max hit some threes, but third game in a row where he is struggling a bit.

Hopefully AD doesn't get any ideas....  https://x.com/ESPNNBA/status/2017805834453926076

Hard to believe Dlo and Hardy can't get in this game. BWill goes down and Dlo still sits. Perimeter shooting is bad and Hardy still sits.
