Trade & FA 2025-26: Free Agency Starts 5pm CST/6pm EST

Marshall won't get you a 1st rd pick, but I think his value now is as high as it's ever been in his career. He's like a starter now somewhere.

Gafford may be a starter for someone as well, but certainly a good backup.

[Rowland] Zaccharie Risacher has been downgraded to questionable. Porzingis was downgraded to questionable earlier today as well.

Unbelievable. Well our need to be as awful as possible has increased even more. Fortunately I think Kidd is capable of being a bad enough coach to improve our lottery odds.

Atlanta... will you trade your injured for ours?

Pretty sure Naji can, Gafford likely too. Both should be going out now via trade.

One mid 1st this summer, another one next season would be my hope.

If that was/is true, they should have been gone yesterday.

I'm not letting go of the Risacher dream until the trade deadline has passed, or until the Hawks trade for another center.

Judge me if you want, but I'm still hopeful.

I would take just Risacher and expiring salary right now...

I'm gonna guess the Hawks pulled the trigger on Zubac after seeing the AD news.

I'm not as "the sky is falling" as everyone else, because I still think AD is a great player and a great fit with Flagg, but given the financials involved and just the draining bummer this entire situation is becoming...yeah, I think I would, too. Who knows if that's even an option, but I'm going to keep hoping.

Risacher, KP, and Kennard for AD is probably still being discussed - or KP, Kennard, and some other player.

Clearance sale.

Guys it’s AD…he’s gonna take the surgical route and sit out all year.

I’ll be curious if anyone in Atlanta ever confirms what you read on the Atlanta message boards about the Trae Trade almost being a 3-way with Dallas.  That would make me even sicker than I am now.

Yeah, that might end up feeling like a real missed opportunity.

Idk, man. He specifically avoided the last surgery recommended to him, and if he thinks the chance of getting back out there this season might get him traded to team willing to give him an extension...

Hopefully the injury is not too bad so he can hold a cigar and play golf the next six weeks.

With the amount of money at stake on AD’s extension, an injury sure would apply maximum pressure on Dallas to take the best deal available, and trade AD someplace he can get his $275 million.

I doubt he's getting that money. He's literally made of glass. He'll get paid well, but he's not getting max money with his injury history. His stint in Dallas has been atrocious from a heath standpoint.

You’re assuming it’s a legit injury as opposed to a negotiation tactic. We will see.

Well for all those in the “trade AD in the summer crowd” aren’t too upset. Honestly, if they can tank good enough, maybe he can come back the last month and not get injured and we can get something out of him. But he’ll probably get injured again.
