Sharing the court with Jalen Green and Bradly Beal is going to put Booker on suicide watch.

Don't forget Dillon Brooks, the most delusional, least likable player in the entire sport. He's the Angel Reese of the NBA.

So they move Green right? The question is who wants him? I understand he is not a hot asset right now and I have doubts he ever gets there, but there is talent. At times, he looks really good. Does PHX move him for Claxton? What type of player do they get back?

Yeah, but if I had to pick one of the three, I'd take Dillon since he plays defense.  A real Sophie's Choice though.

Seems like Houston did pretty good in all this.

Udoka jettisoning him has to tank any value he might have had. 3YRs and 105M left on his contract. He's only 23 though.

At this point, they should maybe consider moving Booker instead. This officially kills the rest of his era, potentially.

Pretty good deal for the Suns. The package the Mavs got for a 25 year old Luka was slightly better. Yes, I would trade AD for this package. The #10 pick now is much, much better than a first in the distant future. Five 2nd rounders are useful and the Mavs got nothing like that in return. Brooks is much better than Max. But, of course, AD is much better than Green, though Green is only 22 while AD is on the downside of his career — so that differential is less than it seems.

BREAKING: The Phoenix Suns are trading two-time NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in the 2025 draft and five second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.

The Phoenix Suns have already been exploring potential new teams for Jalen Green in case they acquire him in a Kevin Durant trade, per
@MikeAScotto

“In a potential trade with the Suns for Durant, Houston could include guard Jalen Green and his $33.33 million salary for the 2025-26 season. With guards Devin Booker and Bradley Beal already on the roster, having failed to trade Beal as the Suns attempted to before the trade deadline, Phoenix has done background on Green to gauge his value around the league in case Green is acquired, and it’s worthwhile to flip him again via trade, league sources told HoopsHype.”

The Texas Triangle of Death is very much alive now.

I wanted KD so badly to go to another team in the east.

Houston looks quite scary honestly.

For now.

In one move, they've shortened their window pretty significantly. Dallas and SA both have windows of undetermined length at this point. I'm still in awe of the good fortune the lottery brought.

I don't think you do that until he asks to be traded and he's eligible for a two year extension on 7/6 so that will probably appease him for a minute or two.

Have they though?

They still have most of their core. At least the guys that matter. Thompson, Jabari, Sengun. They still managed to keep Reed Shepard somehow as well.

Honestly shocked Houston got him this cheap. Figured at least a couple of FRPs would’ve been needed.

Unless you love someone at #10, ditching Brooks and Green for and old KD seems like a big step in the right direction even if it's only a one year rental.  Like you said, Houston has a ton of young talent.

I know he has a bad wrap, but I wouldn't mind Grayson as a rotational guy.

The Heat made multiple offers for Kevin Durant but ultimately turned down the opportunity to place Jaime Jaquez Jr., Nikola Jovic, Haywood Highsmith, the No. 20 pick and other draft assets in a deal, per

Oh for sure. I mean a lotto pick is still a lotto pick. The suns are done for for a long time.

Their only get out jail free card is shipping off Booker for a haul.

As to Allen, I also don’t mind him. I mean he’s as dirty of a player as they come, but the Mavs need shooting and he would provide that very well.

I’d rather have Allen over Naji and Martin to be honest.

I actually think I like that trade better.

Phoenix must have a destination in mind for Green. That's all I can think of.

Pat Riley is slipping. That deal is equal to what Houston gave up to me, depending on what the other assets were.
