Christie has been BAD.

Reaves meanwhile, he's been electric.

Insane how many wide open threes we've missed.

Reaves is playing incredible.

mavs when healthy are still a better team than Lakers. Lakers are playing near they best, in full strength, while mavs good bigs are all sitting on the bench, yet it is still a playable game so far.

Klay has missed a FT now????

Hell hath frozen over.

I mean we knew that since Luka is a Laker. But this is just extra confirmation.

Yeah, they're actually getting good shots, somehow.

our guys missed three layups in the first quarter and even Klay missed a free throw.

Lakers next year will be very different with a good C and Luka at full strenght...

Gotta say it: despite a horrendous start on offense, the Mavs are keeping it close.

I think they're a significantly better team than LA if/when they're ever healthy.

mavs will also get better probably with our guys all back healthy and the addition of a good rookie from the 25' draft.

Funny you think Nico won't trade that pick for KD

Prolly more than slightly.  There is a big difference between a play in team and a finals team.  They got more talent after the trade, but the fit after the trade is probably worse for them (no centers and few defenders).

Most of these threes have been in transition and the Lakers arent getting back. Lebron just doesn't do that anymore. Unfortunately the Mavs aren't making them pay.

Halfcourt the Lakers have shut the Mavs down.

Dinwiddie with the first WTF shot of the night.

And then some Luka magic right after.

I cannot stand watching Edwards.

He's a great defender don't get me wrong. Absolutely a net negative player on the court factoring in his horrendous offensive game. Almost unplayable.

Yes but Lakers have 7/10 years of window... Mavs just 2/3 and 1 year is almost done.
I don't see many reasons too be happy.

Luka on the way to his first triple double tonight as a Laker. mavs gotta do him a favor keeping the game close otherwise luka would be rested for the fourth quarter. maybe luka will already get his triple double in 3 quarters?
