Mavs were favored by 5.5 the last time I looked, but tonight will be difficult. Missi is playing. Gafford took it to him when we played previously, but now he won't need to worry about that. Zion was a beast last time we played. Tough to see how we can keep him out of the lane. We will need to do all the little things right to escape with a win.

Seems to me that the best way to defend Zion if you're lacking in size is take charges. He's kind of a steer in a china shop right now. Of course, that might put more of our guys on the IR.

Love using the challenge to have new guy’s back. He needs the vote of confidence.

Man, Omax is rough trying to finish. For as good of an athlete he is, he can sure look awkward trying to finish at the rim.

Christie continuing his excellent play on both ends. Such a good young player.

Christie is 5-5 from the field in the first half, including two 3pt shots, and the 2pt shots were mostly created by himself.

Spencer can’t make a shot but setting teammates up. Kyrie has been engaged from the tip on both ends. PJ and Max are both winning players. Need Klay and/or Exum to hit a few.

On the other side, Trey Murphy is smooth and I wish he was a Mav. Sherman Klump is doing a great job of jumping into everyone and then waddling back down the court. Julian Newman is a defensive pest. Need to make sure Urkel doesn’t get into a groove.

Looks like a weak base. Gets blocked cause he has no ups in traffic. Still see loads of upside. But he’s a long ways behind Lively and Christie.

watching zion play leads me to the suspicion that it isn't just overweight that hampers luka's movement. zion is shorter and heavier yet he had no problem guarding our guards. I think it's over usage that, combined with overweight, takes away so much quickness from luka who has been playing professional basketball since a very young age.

Zion should be so freakin good. He isn’t even close to his potential. It is a shame. He should be putting up 25 a game on an off night.

He plays so hard.  Because of that he will get more chances.  Just need a lot of polish.

Didn’t somebody name Moses, on his last tour with the Mavs, Jar Jar Binks or some such?

Another gritty win. Not over yet, but almost.

You can make the case djj was the better fit in the Luka team, but Marshall is the better fit with this team.

I see that our guys are honoring the memory of Luka by missing free throws.

Nothing special from Moses and some of it is really awkward, but just having a big to throw out there that isn’t Kelly is helpful.

Zero mins for Hardy? We may be witnessing the end of his tenure here.
