Game 55: Golden State Warriors (27-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (28-26) | 8:30pm
#81
I'm proud of this team. I don't have any stats to back it up, but I feel that we're the most injury ravaged team in the NBA and yet we're 3 games above .500. There's been a few games that we should have won that could have bumped up our record even more. I wish this team was healthy because I do believe this team can compete for a championship.

On a side note, I think Max Christie by himself is worth 2 1st round picks. He's been terrific.

Nico must have valued Christie higher than you do, at least 5 first round picks imho.

Lol.  That's true.  I will say between Christie or Knecht, give me Christie.  Although, we could have gotten both if Nico had been a better negotiator.

even if Christie develops into a superstar, talent-wise it would make the luka trade look a bit fair, but it would never justify the trade because you have to also consider the emotional tortures inflicted upon the fanbase. Nico is a terrorist who gets paid to undermine this franchise imho.

And the 2031 1st, and pick swaps, and dumped Powel/Hardy, and Reeves would have been shipped to a 3rd team and the picks from that trade would have come our way.

the fact that Nico sold luka at a price way below his market value makes me wonder what kind of personal benefits he would receive under the table. if none, then i'd incline to admit that he is an idiot.

Like the speed of play by this version of the Mavs. The passing and letting the open shots fly. They're having to use forwards at center and use quickness and hustle to make up for size. It worked in this game. Luka, had they not traded him, could've started at center.
