I am always leary of the 20 year old big guy who plays for a non-major, but Fleming looks pretty good in these highlights.

I don’t know much about these prospects but I am having trouble getting pumped with potential 20ish picks right now.
Not a sexy pick but a plug and play probably is Karaban at UConn. Good shooter, good height, a role player, and pretty smart. UConn players worth me a lot because I think Hurley puts them in the perfect situation.

Yes, please. I have not seen him play yet. There are supposedly some concerns about his defense and if he is really 6’10 but boy does he look good.

I was watching some of the tape on the 15-30 range prospects and I've got to say there are some names I really like. For example Noa Essengue, but he would probably be a draft and stash, but the frame, agility and instincts seem really nice. Maxi replacement. I also liked Adou Thierro, big wing, stud athlete, solid defender. Rasheer Fleming and Danny Wolf are also 2 guys that seem really interesting.
I also don't think that Liam Mcneeley is a much better prospect than Knueppel

I haven't seen much, but I like McNeeley.
As far as above, I may have McNeeley a little higher but I really like Knueppel too. Still not sure how either translate to the NBA, but think both are probable lottery picks

Top 20 pick seems pretty much a lock, especially if they keep losing these winable games like Minny, Charlotte and Portland. Only one game ahead of the 12th pick now. I like the idea of Flagg as our new back-up PF. Sure would solve that problem.

He looks too good to be a pick in the 20s, but his age works against him. And with the Mavs sliding down the standings, their pick is getting better by the day. It's all the way up to 16 at this point.

Not a draftable prospect now, maybe ever? Only a sophomore and averaging 8 points a game off the bench. But Coen Carr is a ridiculous athlete. Some DJJ look.

Depends. When I first saw the Thompson twins, especially Amen, I said if Prime Westbrook is the best athlete in the NBA currently, then Amen is twice the athlete. But he also had highlights of incredible defense and going coast to coast with the ball like a flash. I honestly believe if Thompson had committed to running, he´d have been at the Paris Olympics in the 100m/200m finals last year. So there is a pathway to being an NBA player without the ability to shoot, but just dunking is not it. I couldn´t find any highlights of Carr that were not dunks.
Having seen Traore drop to #16 in the last tankathon, I´m driving the bandwagon, but I´m afraid there is a French Alien club blocking our path. He´s the perfect PG for Wemby.

A bit of a projection, but someone to monitor. Carter Bryant from Arizona. Former five star recruit coming off the bench for Arizona. May not declare as he is only averaging 6 pts a game. He is 6’8 and 220 and he checks a lot of boxes.

Based on the highlights he should be a lottery pick. There was literally nothing that made me go eh. I can see his 3pt shot being inconsistent, but his court-vision, anticipation (also visible in his defense), handles, passing and when he threw that alley-oop into a tight space that looked like the ball had slipped out of his hands I had to rewind. That looked one of those YT trick shot shorts. If he is there at #32, the Mavs better go and grab him.
We have huge differences on the talent we like in this draft, but this one looks nice. Not surprised he was highly rated out of highschool. Why is he rated #32? Injuries? Attitude? Makes no sense to me.

I feel like we will spend a lot of time in this thread the next couple of weeks.
As for my part, i really like Collin Murray-Boyles. He is asked to do a lot this season and most of the time he is really delivering. He is a little undersized but I love his energy and slasher qualities as well as his passing.

I gave my first look at the Rutgers guys in highlights last night. Harper and Bailey. I am not going to waste my time. Everyone knows with the stated window that the pick will be traded. It will probably be close to a top 10 pick too.

Just watching highlights though, Harper (son of Ron) looks like a beefier, taller probably less of a winner Jalen Brunson.
Bailey is probably the tougher evaluation. He is still 18 until August. Looks to be a world class scorer and hit ridiculous shots. Just doesn't have a great first step.
I am not sure which one I would prefer after watching a few minutes of highlights.

Its hilarious. I didn't expect to have to do draft research cause I figured the Mavs would be near the end of the first round and on their way deep into the playoffs.
Yet here we are. First time in years where I think this team is 100% lotto bound.

Seems its probably time to bump this up to the "important threads" category. It has been a while since I've been on Tankathon or watched highlights of any of the top prospects. It is hard to imagine getting better than the 10th pick even if they shut AD down and did surgery. Some lottery luck would be really nice as there are some great prospects in the top five or so. I haven't really gotten myself to the mental place to dig in beyond that.
